Any opinions on using Tradestation for futures? I've been told that their executions are slow because (according to my source) their platform goes through the internet, but I haven't seen the platform myself. Apparently the commissions are fairly reasonable.

dont do it to slow you will hate it

Anyone who have tried TradeStation for trading futures? They just lowered their commission to 3.99 per side. What disadvantages/advantages may there be?

The CBOT has waived its fees for the MiniDOW until the end of the year. The total RT costs for Trading the Dow with FFastTrade is $1.04 for this period. We have a great system and the cost of trading is hard to beat!

Liquidity?

Spread 4-5 ticks on the outside, and often 3ish.

10-15 thousand a day and moving up quickly.

There are two (maybe more) market makers in the mini dow, and fills have not been a problem.

Thanks for that.

Worth watching since spread betting on the Dow in the UK consists of advertised spreads at 4 points but actual spreads anything from 10 to 20 plus.

So you're the one with that great quote! That's the one I use when I'm looking for the right chart to trade.

Pretty Trades - Be they pretty, or pretty ugly!!:D

Pretty Arrows - Don't shoot no ugly arrows!!
