Or just a slow in the rate of decline. I spoke with an economist from the Dallas Fed recently, and expectations are NOT chipper for the end results of the massive bailout. It's just an attempt to stop the bleeding, patient may be comatose for quite some time. Deficit will carry forward much longer than expected as well.
