Most of those registered in 1999 have long stopped posting... at least under their original handles. But a few remain active, to varying degrees.

nice idea. bringing back some memories. some of those old threads (like regarding ib) are real interesting to read from today's perspective. i am not the oldest or a huge poster; but here every day..despite the influx of lesser quality people recently.
 
I lurked for quite a while before joining. It's interesting how the topics have changed. In the early years as I recall most of the posts concerned equipment issues, particularly multiple monitors. Baron used to sell multimonitor cards through the site. Another big topic was brokers. Routing and execution were big as well, although I may be confusing that with silicon investor threads.
