Last time they shut the gov down /market seemed to like it/ uptrend again.Regardless OF THE DROPS+ last FEB was good one, exspect QQQ to do better than SPY...............................

Of inverses SQQQ has weak relative strength, likely because covid is good for tech.

UVXY TZA are best imo, though I'm also long SQQQ

Good for tech? Sure no more stock market crisis because of new "england covid"?

I was bored so I used one of my recent QQQ strategies to see if going Long TQQQ or short SQQQ is more profitable. Backtest is from September 2019 to today.

(This is just a curve fitted backtest, not claiming any real profitability here.)

This does not include borrowing fees.

Cumulative log returns using TQQQ: 258%
Cumulative log returns using SQQQ: 294%

So yes, it appears that with perfect shorting ability and zero borrow fees, shorting SQQQ is more profitable.

Sounds good;
in a perfect world. SQQQ pays a better dividend/4.5%.IMPOSSIBLE to get squeezed with TQQQ; but that may not mean much??
Also have to figure personality; buying sqqq or tecs feels real strange/ strange if one is used to shorting stock.............................................................................
