If one believes the technology is not a complete fraud, we're getting to a quite attractive R:R to lock some money in crypto projects for couple of years, many had 70-90% DD.

What would you put your money in for 10x return potential over 1-3 years in that space?

My guess is BTC and ETH + couple of high potential coins. BTC as the brand of the whole movement + adoption, ETH as the most popular applications netwotk, plus performance boost after the merge, eg practical applications, NFTs seems to be mostly there. Not sure if SOL competitive advantage is still there after the merge especially with FTX collapse. They were big investor but how dependant SOL is on them is unknown IMO. XMR might be #3 candidate as most popular vehicle for anonymity on the blockchain.
 
You seem to confuse the underlying chain with the ill conceived and soon dying crypto currencies in circulation. They are not the same. The underlying technology appears sound, however, the only legal and regulated tokens will soon be the digital version of our long proven fiat currencies. Plain and simple. This is where the train is going. Centralized digital equivalents of our paper money.

Of course you will lose more freedom as the government can now freeze your entire assets at any point in time, but hey, it's digital, what more could a millennial wish for...

I do not confuse it, just being practical and don't care about academic precision that you seem to be craving. There are layers of technologies involved with limited abilities to invest into underlying directly for most people. There are many coins out there that represent a commonly accessible vehicle to invest. If one believes in the infrastructure but not BTC, an infrastructure company(ies) have likely raised money via ICO and there is associated coin.

In accordance to your thesis do you see any high return potential way to invest into digitization of fiat currency?

People want freedom till they get fucked. Then they want protection. Regulation coming into that industry was very predictable and is a good thing for most people.

I wouldn't put my money in for any specific time period. I'd start putting money in when the trend changes and keep adding if it continued. I'd start taking profit if the trend changed to a down trend.
Throwing cash at it just in case is gambling.

That is an interesting point. I'd imagine they will eventually saturate the market with little differentiation of the generated collection. Generative AI Art could be a breakthru for high cost effeciency and enough personal touch. Not sure how to gain exposure there yet though.
 
Then there are coins that were hyped during the last bull run with good potential, eg BNB, ADA, DOT, LINK, XTZ, LTC.Finally - pick up some projects that are still early and have potential to deliver real world value, eg Filecoin, Avalanche, Elrond, Elastos, Chia. Those are still early and can be good long term investments with potential of 10x returns.It's hard to pick out winners in this space, as many projects had 70-90% DD, so it's important to do your own research and pick projects you believe in.
