He's ignoring his $115K unrealized PNL like all frauds in bucket shop FX do (here). You're a fraud. Thankfully you're too inept to attract any capital.
destriero don't get so
upset. Please donkey, do not
cry and bray so loud.

4 posts in a row? You are getting
really hysterical now that you have begun to understand how many real MMs we are actually moving LOL
Sorry,
you can't participate in the party. This is for
intelligent people with sufficient capital to be successful, and I am not referring to the
capital part (which you lack anyway) LOL
You count here less than a retarded donkey fart. But thank you for suggesting topics of discussion, even if they are
way above your intellectual level.
Also,
thanks for advertising my website, which I would not do explicitly, with respect to the site owner
@Baron. Please, do not overdo advertising, because I am already overwhelmed with my current many "friends". You know,
$$$ always moves where it is convenient, and
hedge funds are no more
Remember that G-Bot is a
strictly private initiative among "friends"
who exchange personal favors, and therefore not subject to any "regulator"
For anyone asking, of course,
I always know no one and everything is
fictitious $$$

LOL
While you are at it, why do you not point also to some of my
publications or projects?
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0047259X04002180
or my numerous appearances on National Television, RAI channels 1, 2, 3, prime time as a university professor?
Information for
knowledgeable readers (not the retards).
=========================================
When IB says in your statement that your Net Liquidation is:
NetLiquidation 2790821.76 USD
that is what you actually have in your account
after closing all positions and paying for the corresponding commission and spread.
When G-Bot says that your PNL is for instance
686K, that is the exact figure that you have generated by the trading activity
alone (excluding any other broker fee or interests)
after you close all your positions (spread and commissions included).
Let's take 1
simple example, with
one layer, so it's easier to pinpoint. Let's take the following:
ES FOP 20240216 2900 P CME 50 E-mini S&P 500 [EW3G4 P2900, 609545196, mult: 50]
In this case,
1 possible PNL decomposition is the following:
PNL Decompositions (without and with closing commission [ with Bid/Ask: 10.5 / 11 ]
PNL = (Gain + Loss + Unrealized) - Comms
12521.58 = (51560.00 + -28637.50 + -9725.00) - 675.92
12493.18 = (51560.00 + -28637.50 + -9725.00) - 675.92 - 28.40
Note that
all the possible PNL decomposition into the 2 components R (Realized) and U (Unrealized) are
a large number.
Another possible decomposition, for instance, is the following (this is in particular the so-called FIFO, although I prefer a different form of decomposition):
PNL Decompositions (without and with closing commission [ with Bid/Ask: 10.5 / 11 ]
PNL = (Gain + Loss + Unrealized) - Comms
12521.58 = (14837.50 + -3265.00 + 1625.00) - 675.92
12493.18 = (14837.50 + -3265.00 + 1625.00) - 675.92 - 28.40
Clearly, in both cases, we are talking of the
same PNL. The decompositions are different because
a different matching algo is used. It is also possible to create a decomposition that
minimizes the "
Realized" (which can be useful, in some countries for tax-related accounting purposes). (Clearly, this will usually be quite different from both FIFO and LIFO.)
In particular, if you wish to run
your own computations this is the original list of orders of this layer:
Code:
Buy Price Sell Price Qty ΔPrice ΔVal Comm Scalp

1.35 17.75 10 16.40 8200.00 28.40 8171.60

17.5 3.9 10 -13.6 -6800.0 28.40 -6828.40
16.5 3.25 10 -13.25 -6625.00 28.40 -6653.40
11.25 3.25 10 -8.00 -4000.00 28.40 -4028.40
8.75 3.15 10 -5.60 -2800.00 28.40 -2828.40
7 2.75 10 -4.25 -2125.00 28.40 -2153.40
6.75 2.5 10 -4.25 -2125.00 28.40 -2153.40
5.5 2.45 10 -3.05 -1525.00 28.40 -1553.40
4.9 2.1 10 -2.8 -1400.0 28.40 -1428.40
4.65 1.9 5 -2.75 -687.50 14.20 -701.70
4.1 1.9 5 -2.2 -550.0 14.20 -564.20
Now, in any case,
given any set of orders, you can write the
PNL in the following form:
PNL = R + U or if you want to split it further, as I do PNL = (G - L) + U
Now, given the set of orders, the
PNL is a unique number. The
decomposition, instead is
arbitrary because it depends on how the lots are matched.
Now if I
close this layer, what I get is exactly:
PNL = 12493.18
That is exactly my
PNL. This happens because when you close, the
Unrealized portion of the decomposition "disappears", and all lots can be
matched.
So you go from
PNL = R + U to
PNL = R' + 0
So
the PNL that you see is exactly what you get.
The decomposition might have some relevance for
accounting purposes, but strategically it's not telling you much as it's
arbitrary. Clearly, you could consider the min and max of the
Unrealized over all possible order rearrangements and
matchings and that can be useful for tax purposes or, strategically, to provide boundaries for your
potential future profit.
In fact, conceptually, in the most simplistic cases, the
Unrealized is the only part that can turn into extra profits. (Clearly, it is not
exactly so, because, depending on the
matching algo, even the
matched pairs can change over time as new orders are added.)
