I'd like to think Trump can't possibly win at this point but there are a lot of Americans who aren't that bright and vote the same party every election. All I know is another 4 years of Trump and people will be asking where the promised results went to after 8 years in power. The similarities to George W. Bush late first term are striking. Will enough Americans be fooled by the illusion of a "strong" economy on the backs of a strong stock market and huge government deficits to overlook some rather obvious problems that Trump hasn't even put a dent into ?
