Gallup June 1995--

Dole 51 percent. Clinton 46 percent. --as we know the final number was Clinton 49 percent and Dole 40 percent.
 
Here's another great example of polling this far out being worthless--

CNN. June 1999--

Bush 56 percent. Gore 41 percent. We all know the final number was Bush 47.9 percent. Gore 48.4 percent.

A year prior to the 2016 election polls showed the democrat would get more votes than the republican.

A year prior to the 2012 election polls showed the democrat would get more votes than the republican.
