No. Giving people access to healthcare is not a bad idea.

I get it doesn’t play well but we all benefit from people seeing doctors and getting their health taken care of while they are in this country legal or illegal.

It’s also a cost savings than emergency care.

Only women can get abortions for what should be obvious reasons. Now if a women says she wants to "identify" as a man I have no issue with that, it's a free country. My problem is someone expecting me to believe their delusion and deny what I know to be a scientific fact. There is no gender fluidity other than in someone's mind. Physically, without surgical mutilation/alteration, it's impossible. Women do and will continue to have the right to get an abortion. Men cannot get pregnant and that's a biological fact. If the pregnant women gets that abortion she is welcome to call herself a man, but it is a fact that a female got that abortion.

The Democrats are up there talking about "cost savings" strategies to provide healthcare for people that should not even be in the country to begin with COMBINED with the fact that they don't want to deport anyone. Joe Biden was attacked for his Deportation Numbers as Obama's VP. That is how far left they have become, attacking Joe Biden is a badge of honor for them.

They should spend their time talking about how they are going to defeat Trump. Free Healthcare for Illegal Immigrants. Is this really a winning strategy??? They spent the majority of their time talking about what they will do for non-US Citizens.

How is this supposed to resonate and get them closer to beating Trump?????

Why jump to the shit hole example rather than various countries in Europe. I am not making an opinion on either side (I have to say that because you will just attack me advocating for socialist health care for all and that I love Venezuela), but don't hold up Cuba as an example. That country is so poor my friends down there can see a doctor but there is no medicine or treatments available.

Canadians live 3.5 years longer then Americans across the board ( 2016 numbers ). I'm not sure what you are paying for down there but it's certainly not keeping you alive longer. An Ontario resident making $200K or more a year pays $900 a year for their health care; those making less then 20K pay nothing. There is no copay, user fees, deductibles to deal with in most situations.

As I said, when the discussion of government health care pops up for discussion let's stop holding up Cuba as though it is the shining star when there are many other countries out there with better examples. Cuba is dirt poor so the fact that they all have access to health care is meaningless when it means no medicine or money for advanted treatments for 95% of the population.

Canada can do it well because they grew up on that system. USA has been capitalistic so long government will never be able to run anything.
