Believe it or not, my clearing firm does not mark to market on VOLUME.
They mark to market on PRICE.

Everything has been "weak volume" since Oct. 10, relatively speaking, selloffs included. What's more, the whole 2003-2007 rally of over 100% was on a series of very low-volume run-ups.

got two thirds of the way to my targets, close enuf, indicative of relative strength that it a) didn't fulfill downside targets, and b) rebounded...
