Living on a boat and avoiding taxes

There is zero tax in the UK under about £8000 a year earnings.
Trading is tax free too. The brokers pay.
You had better hurry to immigrate. There are 100s of millions waiting to come from the 3rd world crap economies.

Actually "under £11,500", now.

The first £11,500 of income is free from income taxes, after which the rate is 20% on income (after allowable deductions, naturally) from £11,501 up to £45,000.

Well, when push comes to shove, I figure most peeps would be under the US flag of protection and pay taxes, rather than "out there" without said protection. Why give it all up just for a few tax breaks? The alternatives could be severe.

What do you need protection from? All western and most eastern countries protect their citizens. Seriously, what are these severe alternatives?

At this point as a U.S. citizen who proudly served an entire military career I'm starting to think I need the "protection" of a second passport. Not going to revoke my U.S. citizenship for a variety of reasons, not least of which I actually do love the country I served, but "protection" isn't one of those reasons.

@Sig Just curious, is Sig for Sig Sauer ? What specific benefits do you find carrying a second passport ?
