Some of my family are from the Czech Republic, Prague is quite nice although double the price of 3 years ago. Still you can get a 2 bedroom for about 60k USD on the outskirts of the city. High speed internet is about the same price as the US, not sure about the speed though. Last summer we drove from Czech Republic through Slovakia to Budapest. In Slovakia, things are still cheaper, might look at Bratislava, supposed to quite nice, not as big or expensive as Prague. We are considering buying a second home in Slovakia, but I need to check into the quality of high speed internet.

Budapest is nice, but I believe it would be about the same as Prague. Czech and Slovak are difficult languages to learn, I am struggling now. Hungarian, no offense to any Hungarians, forget about it. It sounds like nothing else, nobody speaks it besides Hungarians. Atleast if you learn Czech or Slovak you can get by a bit in former Yugoslavia as they are all Slavik based languages. Different though, but not like Hungarian and Slavik based.

My friend is going to be trading from Ukraine for a couple of months this summer. There things are cheap. The average wage is $250 USD a month! A great meal is $15 USD. The women are hot too!

$15 ? it's a typo isnt'it? In Czech Rep. you can get a good meal for much less than $15 even in Prague. I imagine in Ukraine it should be even cheaper.
I speak the language so no rip offs,though.

Yes you are right about the cost of Czech meals. I am comparing to say a $100 US meal with bottle of wine to $15 in Ukraine. That would probably cost $25 in the Czech Republic, point being Ukraine is probably cheaper than the Czech Republic.

Do you trade out of the Czech Republic?

"I've been crucified and condemned even before any of the necessary checks have been carried out, as is often the case," the multiple champion said. "I have been living in London for seven years, not a Disney city or a tax paradise on a small island. I chose London because I like the city, and for the demands of my occupation.

So how does it work if I am working in the UK but I plan to start trading my brokerage account that is located in the US.

At the end of the year do I just claim capital gains tax (assuming I make money). Or do I need to include all income earned and then?
 
I read somewhere that 'income tax' was only intented to be an emergency tax to be used during world war 1 (might have been 2 actually) and was never meant to be a long term solution.

Scrap income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax etc ... and jack up vat tax on goods.

What better incentive to work. No one avoids tax on their goods so governments still win. Massive saving on government tax adminstration costs.
