Did I also tell you guys I hate when Americans talk themselves down and generalize a culture to the point of concluding that because some parts are not doing well, the whole thing stinks?

People always think that the grass is greener on the other side of the fence. Until they try it.

If you decide to test this theory for yourself, the best advice I can give you is to go to Italy. If you don't find this the perfect place to live, then the problem is not with the world. It's you.

i luv me country, it is an absolute dream, no q 'bout it, but da goverment is in shamble and da new 'presidente del consiglio' prodi is an incompetent retard...u remember da aweful deal he gaves us with da euro[?] yes, 2/1...our holdings cut in half...and if it wasn't enough he raised taxes like no other party before him. now we will have to put up with his shite once again....

You think that paying taxes is good and if we didnt pay them, we wouldnt have the nice live we have?

Well, my trading capital that i saved from work is already taxed at 40%+. That is already to much.

Then if i lose the rest at trading, no one refunds my account.
If i generate winnings, government wants half of it again and year in year out. Those winnings come form other peoples accounts whose money was also already taxed. It just moves from A to B but is taxed at every station.
Then when i spend it, i get taxed once more because the prices contain all kinds of future tax payments.

The taxes the government takes from me is nearly completely spend on ever rising dept interests, inefficient government workers or in US case - wars( We dont have any money left for that - too much interest payments. We already shut our military down because of costs ).

Looking at the big picture, we pay way to much taxes.
20% like in some wisely guided countrys might be ok and necessary to keep law upright, but the taxes in US and EU are a crime and need to be avoided at all costs.
 
I will be taking off from runway 12 west at approximately 6:45 local time, with a full contingent of air-to-surface weaponry.

I suggest you shelter any cows, sheep or old folks that you want to keep around. Especially the old folks, after all they are pretty easy targets with those walkers and wheelchairs, and when they start waving those canes around well it just makes "locking on" to the target easier, if you know what I mean. :)

Everything is good or everything is bad.

And indeed Italy is a fine land to live in if you have money. But real estate is not cheap. Although that i think that economically things are not going well there.
 
Well I am not here to critique anyone's thought process.

Instead I want to make a simple point.

Taxes...Nobody wants to pay, but we all want social services from the government.

It always costs more than we think is right. Deal with it.

Instead of using your limited mental resources thinking up ways to avoid taxes, why not think up ways to increase income so you don't have to worry so much about paying taxes.

Again, my conclusion is we all come from a "country of origin" and we all have to choose whether to stay or leave. Even if you leave, where will you go, and still obtain the simple services necessary to sustain life and to protect you and your loved ones, now and in old age?

There is nowhere to go.

Pay your fair share, and quite bitching and moaning about it you cheap hosebags.

On the internet you never know who your talking to. Steve might even be Bush ( or his wife).
Or he might be a big shareholder in Halliburton, or in Lockheed-Martin, as he talks all the time about the Stealth bombers.
