sorry Robert - I reworded my post so deleted this one. I have been wanting to find this out for a while: I originally got livevolx and was using the excel plug in and making use of the thourough quote history... that went away after. always wondered why?

Livevol was going out of business and stripped out functions that IB/TWS took over to save money. To replicate processes that IB offers and the CBOE offers, STT has to rebuild the execution and regulatory functions and replicate the CBOE database functions as they want to exit that. LVX at IB works the same as before and LVX for Wedbush clients are considered in Beta, but seems to be working fine. I just added someone today. No problems.

Is your only concern the excel plug in? STT did not break it. It was a function that the CBOE built and the CBOE removed it. STT is working on adding it back in. No date yet, but we are hoping for soon. Soon being in the next 30 to 60 days.
yes excel plugin... quote history also but less important . wow - that's exciting to hear 30-60 days though. I've been on since the changeover waiting... actually I came and left once already waiting - feels like a couple years now, but the time blends together.
