You will go entire days without hearing anything from TeamSpeak. Also, you will often hear them yell out equity tickers. Perhaps they want to steer you to trade certain equities? Perhaps that is why they are able to provide this service for free? wouldn't surprise me

I've had the same problem. But some of the other guys on this thread told me that they were hearing stuff on days I wasn't. Not sure what to make of this. It has been solid this week.
 
I have had it for 3 weeks and it has worked every day. I have Trade the News also and at times Teamspeak is faster with breaking news.

Are you trading off of the news? If so what are you looking for?

I have done a log of the news received part of the day for a week on teamspeak. Most of the movement has already taken place by the time the news hits, or it actually reverses or does nothing.

I have 3 feeds for audio news. I have never been impressed with Trade The News, but many swear by them. Out of all three, I still think that Need To Know News is the most consistent and quicker with breaking news. The hold brothers feed sometimes picks up on stories that NTKN doesn't, but I wouldn't call them significant (but that is subjective). I think TTN lags behind both in quality and price.

I don't listen to the equities channel all the time since I'm trading futures, so my perspective is that of a futures trader.

I will scalp the news if the shares are there. If the stock has spread already I will look to fade the move for a scalp also.

Im not sure why they are offering it for free. Of course it may be to recruit traders which would make sense. If you have a great product of coarse you will use it as a selling point to recruit new traders.

Example trade was ASH yesterday:Reader was extreamly fast and it was a 4 point move on the upside.

Yes, this is a good facility. With a lot of stuff on your screens, it is helpful to have this as a voice service with major economic items coming in right on the split second.

They can also give a warning to remind you like "Numbers in 10 seconds".
