The saddest part about these is that if you go to these places today, you would see how the standard of living was higher back then. Cities, villages, even industrial plants were orderly, well maintained, even clean. Today these places are junkyards, people live shorter miserable lives, and its all like a set for a Mad Max episode. But 80 years of communism is not for nothing. And that really screws up these pictures...
