Listing costs on the NYSE

I want to buy stock in NYSE

"The companies that transferred their listings from NASDAQ to the NYSE during
2002 – 2005 have benefited from substantial increases in quality of trading in their stocks,
including lower volatility, tighter spreads, and reduced execution costs."
 
The symbol for NYSE is "NYX." Fairly pricey, though. "NDAQ" (Nasdaq) is a little more attractive at current valuation, but could pull back a little as well. Nasdaq will be releasing earnings on 2/13/07 at which time the stock will either go UP or DOWN. Then again, it might go sideways. :D
