And these lyrics... I mean... lol...... there's 2 vids on Youtube, the one with lyrics has 23 Million views, and the official vid has 39 Million.
Now I gotta think its not the Gen x's, Y's, or Millennial's diggin' this tune. I guess it hits home for a lot of folks.
Actually, I don't like that song. It sounds nothing to me like Dramarama.
Dramarama is what I call waterfall music. Just falls like a torrent. The type of music you would listen to with the windows down driving 100 mph on a desert road at night with a full moon.
The other song isn't the same. Fwiw, I never liked the hair bands of the 80's.

I always loved this one by those guys.
Its one of a few TV theme songs that made it to the Billboard top 10.
There's been a few. I think Welcome Back Kotter hit #1 at one point lol.
SWAT was another good instrumental that topped the charts for a bit.
This one is still the best imo.
