Listening Music While trading ?

That's because from what I understand, our brain can actually only focus on one thing at a time even though it can go back and forth quickly between the two.

"One" thing might be a bit of overstatement, but the gist is CORRECT.

That being, I do listen to music while trading. Instrumental and technical preferred, bordering right and left brain characteristics.
Reality is, listening to music while trading is not much different than talking to plants or reading to a developing baby in the womb.

I am also a fan of isochronic tones and brainwave entrainment. There is very little definitive proof these practices have benefit.
Music and music therapy has minimal risk, so i'm ok with that.

This is true, but multitasking is a sign of intellegence.

However I think a professional trader does more 'doing' instead of thinking. So they can enjoy music since trading is second hand.

If I listen to anything while trading, it must not have any vocals and plenty of mind stimulation

Sometimes one of these endless YouTube videos with nature sounds or some kind of relaxing Tai Chi music or Japanese Shakuhachi.

Nothing that distracts and nothing that manipulates my emotions other than maybe creating a relaxing atmosphere.

All sorts of music, videos, phone calls, texts, wife, dog, cat are going on here. But it all automated! Would never do it manual trading.

Oh God, I couldn't listen to that for more than a second. I believe multitasking just means one is not ADHD.

I agree, that trading is more "doing" than thinking but if one does not think at all?... probably not good. You have to know what you are doing, and to do that you must be thinking about what you are doing. JMHO.
