Listen to this 13-year-old girl sing...

She has plenty of time to learn. I just hope she does have proper teachers, because we've all seen good singers ruin their vocal cords because they weren't trained properly.

Yeah winning and getting on air again is going to get her a deal and the right people.

You know Angelica Hale, the little girl who won or finished 2d but had an amazing voice? She got better and better up into the final performance. Afterwards they talked about the professional vocal coach that worked with her on each performance. Getting on the show will get them access to that.
We will see if she gets a deal or gets chewed up and spit out like the whole industry does now....

I understand that people can have honest differences of opinion. To me, Grace was a cute kid with a ukulele. That she actually won was an utter surprise to me. Angelina, on the other hand, is a jazz singer whose riffs and runs you misinterpreted (in my opinion) as errors. She had utter and complete control of her voice. I think you need to hear both of their performances side by side and reevaluate.

I did:

Not even close.

Remember, that at the time of their respective performances they were only one year apart in age. Grace was 12. Angelina is 13. One sings like a little girl. The other is a seasoned vocalist with range, control and resonance.

I personally like Grace's voice signature better, a bit more unique. This girl's unreal though, she has a bit of Lana del Rey/cat power/winehouse vibe going on.

Angelica was pretty mind blowing first time I heard her. I'm not impressed with her teen voice, thought it would've matured into more adult timber.

I'm still bitter they didn't make Cody Frost a star:
