CME Group’s 2016 Trading Challenge is exclusive to currently enrolled college and university students at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
This electronic trading team competition is designed to provide student teams with an educational experience consistent with that of professional trading of CME Group products. Teams trade using live data in a simulated environment. Students compete as school teams for the competition. Registered teams comprised of 3 to 5 currently enrolled students will compete for cash prizes and unique CME Group experiences.
Teams will use the CQG Integrated Client (IC) trading platform to execute trades on the CME Globex platform. CQG will provide access to technical analysis and trading software as well as training before the competition begins. The CQG help line is available 24 hours a day.

These are real-money competitions based on net returns, with a minimum of just 10 round-turn trades of any size required to qualify for coveted Bull & Bear trophies, great prizes and an opportunity to join the advisory team at WorldCupAdvisor.com. 2016 marks the 33rd consecutive year of World Cup Trading Championship events.
1. Initial Cash Balance
Participants will be given an initial cash balance of $100,000 US of fictitious funds in their account.
2. Eligible Securities
The TD Bank Virtual Stock Market Game offers a wide variety of stocks from the United States markets. In order to be considered for The TD Bank Virtual Stock Market Game. Securities must meet specific criteria including pricing, market capitalization and average daily volume. In addition, the security must also be traded on a recognized U.S. marketplace system such as NYSE, AMEX, NASDAQ, exchanges and recognized international exchanges. There is a $5 minimum stock price for equity trades and a $3.00 stock minimum price for purchasing equities that are to be executed as a Short Trade.
