list of symbol changes

Where do I get a list of daily symbol changes and adjustments for the NYSE and NASDAQ if I am not a member or service subscriber?

for the nyse, you can go to NYSE.com and signup for trader alerts. They are usually pretty good with alerts, offerings, and symbol changes. Not sure about NASDAQ (but i'm sure when they take over the Nasdaq names, they'll add them to the mix)

I think they want the complete exchange; not just the index.

Problem with the Nasdaq site is they only have updates through 2008.

NASDAQ provides a free comprehensive list of symbols for itself, Amex, NYSE, OTCBB. However, I only presume that its regularly updated:
