List of 50 volatile companies

I am starting to create a list of 50 companies from any sectors that have the following in common:

1-They are at least valued at 100 million dollars or up.
2-Their stock trades between 5 and 10 dollars.
3-Their stock is very volatile with high volume throughout the year.
4-They are not on the news all the time (less vulnerability for manipulations)

Some of the ones I have in my list include:

LXU (LSB Industries, Inc.)
CGI (Celadon Group, Inc.)
PFNX (Pfenex Inc)
ADPT (Adeptus Health Inc)

Do you guys know what is the easiest way to obtain this kind of information?

Hello Sam,

TC2000 can quickly get your list whittled down to your basic criteria sans the news. (Then read the news of the hot stocks. :))

I wasn't sure if your wanted the stock between 5 and 10 for today or the entire year. It's easy to do both. The scan I ran was for stocks between 5 and 10 for the entire year. I had the volume average 100,000 for the year and the highest volatility over the last 10 days.

The PCF scan is: AVGV252 > 1000) AND (MAXC252 <= 10) AND (MINC252 >= 5)

The PCF gives you a start list and then a volatility sort as described here:

Then, add a column depicting market capitalization.

In all the Worden listed common stocks there are 90 that met the criteria. The symbols are listed on the left with the most volatile at the top. You can also see the Market Cap and it's depicted in millions.

Hey Robert,

Wow that is amazing!! And thanks for the screenshots, I tried the software you recommended but I couldnt find how to use a one month trial. But according to the screenshots it seems to be a very useful tool.
