So... when Trump works to get a cease fire in Syria.
you find that a problem?

Look I am not a fan of what he is doing with taxes and health care...
But, why would anyone complain about him working towards getting a cease fire in Syria?

Was it ever a good idea for Obama and hillary and kerry to arm Al Queda types to try and oppose Assad? or to destabilize libya? Do we really want millions of more people displaced and migrating to Europe and some over here?

Was Obama's plan ever going to work once Russia got involved and made a commitment to Assad.

I understand Graham and McCain are always pushing or war but who on the left has a problem with a cease fire and an attempt to start to stabilize the area?

This is insane. Haven't you noticed that the attack is continuous and is not in any way modulated by those rare occasions when Trump reads directly from his teleprompter . There is no pattern. It's one long continuum! Trump is a gangster, a jerk, a demagogue, and a huge embarrassment rolled into one. The attack will continue until we're rid of him, and likely for sometime after that as well.

This is the most sensible post you've posted in a long time. But be wary of anything Trump says or does, or pretends to do. And particularly be wary of any thing involving Trump and Putin. I am confident that if the sanctions actually continue to be implemented, regardless of what Trump says, Putin will eventually throw Trump under the bus once he is no longer useful. And believe me, there are plenty of ways to do just that!

Good article. Thanks for posting. Use this simple test, it seldom fails: If it seems implausible it's probably not true. For some, this test can't work, because they lack the experience and knowledge needed. Pity.

so far the only major figures who I trust to give us a solid view of things is Rand Paul (and Cruz on domestic issues). and even with them its trust but verify.

Rand Paul is definitely weak on his understanding of the Federal Reserve and Macroeconomics. (He called his bill "Audit the Fed", ignoring that the are already very public and audited twice over. And the audits are public.) That bill was really about giving veto power over monetary matters to the Congress, which would wreck the Fed's independence on monetary policy. Can you imagine what a dumb thing that would be!!, but I have some respect for Rand Paul. Cruz is nothing but an opportunist. No respect for him.
