limit to max spread?

Jeez, most guys use this board so they can move from prop firm to prop firm. Metooxx skips countries every few months.

I've been looking at LSTR options the past couple of days, and I'm surprised the bid/ask spread is so large. Only one exchange handles them, but still - the spread is along the lines of 3.20/3.90. Are there any rules about how large a spread can be, or can the specialist do whatever he wants?

Pacific Exchange has legal widths....

0.05 - 2.00 = .25
2.05 - 5.00 = .40
5.05 - 10.000 = .50
10.10 - 20.00 = .80
20.10+ = 1.00

:)

There are at CBOE:
25 cents up to $2, 40 cents up to $5, 50 cents up to $10, etc. (I don't remember the rest).

BUT -- there are lots of rules for transient exceptions based on market activity, and hundreds of long-term exemptions for particular underlyings.

ok, I think we're going in circles, here. :)
It started when "def" said, "that gets you back to taxes. If that's your concern, consider Southern Europe."
So I'm still trying to find out, not only the "where"s, but also, exactly what tax advantages?

Cyprus has minor corporate taxes; which with some minor creative invoicing can be reduced to almost nil, same for Monaco ...
