Limit Buy keeps filling at higher than Limit

Apologies if this has been clarified already (I couldn't find it):

I've just started using IB - when I place a Limit Buy it constantly fills above the limit specified. As an example, I've just bought 1 share of AMR, using a Limit Buy at 113.64. . . but it filled at 114.64.

Am I missing something here?

IBKR, like SCHW, tends to get price improvement, over time;
even though AMR is a semi liquid stock+ a market order [ exit] could get price improvement of $1.
MOST likely you made a mistake, includes you comission??
I thought today =wow i got an amazing price improvement on a semi liquid ETF; but actually it was in my email,[which i dont check often]
It was a settlement date of 3/7-22. I simply read it wrong:D:D
Good profitable trade on AMR/its flying sky hi;
if it was me i would exit before what they call ''buy monday ''\because so much goes down on monday. AMR may may uptrend all month of MAR , so not a prediction:caution::caution::caution::caution::caution:/:cool::cool:

I would check if that price included commission. If your limit order price is $113.64, it should be filled at $113.64 or lower, not higher regardless of the market unless it's a stop-loss order. Since a stop-loss order is essentially a market order, it would have the possibility of being filled above the price indicated in a fast market but not a limit order.
