Actually it's been a subject of discussion almost since the document was ratified. Hence all the amendments and the volumes of Supreme Court decisions.

Precisely! And when the discussion led to different interpretation or when something wasn't included that should have been, an amendment was put forth and ratified through the process the Constitution provided!

Thank you for going with what I've been saying all along. You've just defined what "Abiding By The Constitution" is all about. Well done!

Thats right , remember that Russian Lawyer they brought in to interpret for them what a 'natural born citizen' is and whether he can become President. They don't seem to have the same problem with Cruz.

That's EXACTLY WHAT IT MEANS.... AND WAS INTENDED BY OUR GENIUS FOUNDERS TO BE FOLLOWED EXACTLY SO THAT WE NOT EVER SUFFER THE TURMOIL AND TYRANNY WE'RE FORCED TO ENDURE TODAY!!

The Constitution was intended to RESTRICT the power and actions of the Federal Government... so that Americans could FOREVER be free from government oppression. And if you don't "dig" that ideal, then you don't deserve to live in this country!
