I got myself to blame for chasing, should have not even thought about trading with the platform f***ing up, nothing I can do now, just have to wait until next week to start at square one again.
Really messed this one up, started short on LIZI premarket, entered a bunch of orders, when some got filled, I cancelled the others, but instead of them instantly cancelling, it just said pending, and on open they all got filled, now I was in a huge short position, and it went my way on open, but I wasn't quick enough to take profit, then exited for a -$60 loss with a market order right before it spiked up, so the loss wasn't that bad, but I should have had over $300 profit in minutes, live and learn, hopefully I'm quicker on the trigger next time.
SURF went up over 30% yesterday, shorted it on open, covered for $180 in 2 1/2 hours, shorted in 3 lots, when exiting I wanted to find out for sure if exiting in multiple lots after entering in multiple lots would count as multiple day trades, as I was told previously in chat that it would, so I exited in 2 lots, and once again chat gave the wrong info, as I still have a day trade left, probably save it for tomorrow.
Beautiful trade this morning, shorted EDSA shortly after open, almost got the very top, then added as it was coming down, then trailed with a stop order (manually adjusted) for a profit of +$311 in 7 minutes, this felt like the best trade thus far, waited patiently for the entry, wanted to see if it would break through $10 with conviction, it did not, it topped out right where it topped out back in August, quickly entered via hotkey order, then added to a winner for a change, then set a stop order and was adjusting it as it was going down, got taken out, only thing I would have done differently was exit half and let half run, but I say this in hindsight as I see it drop further, overall gain on account +5.76%.
