Life is good for NYC landlords

Quote from MandelbrotSet:

As Surdo is alluding to, you have access to an amazing assortment of women though ... admitedly, the novelty of that only lasts for a decade or so ... but man, when it's on, IT'S ON!

I'm getting old and I'm still (in my eyes) poor. Women just don't seem that interesting anymore -- and if they do, it's only for a few minutes and because I'm procrastinating from doing something more important.

Quote from ByLoSellHi:

I don't know how some of you keep your sanity.

Come to Michigan (not Detroit), with lush green lawns, 1 to 10 acre lots, and golf courses, crystal clear ponds, clean air, blue lakes and rolling ground all around (in the Northern Suburbs).

My lot overlooks a championship golf course, while not being directly on the course (no pesky golfers), a sweeping view of deep green rolling ground approximately 100 acres wide, with tall pines and spruce trees standing in perfect rows, and I have a true, springfed, 10 acre pond that is always gently flowing - oh, not to mention the walking, rollerblading and bike path that is interconnected in a 25 mile link, that winds around a nature preserve with streams and small lakes, that lay 1/4 quarter mile from my front door.

I could never live in a city like New York. No offense.

If I ever had to move, it would be to Colorado or Utah, with a lot having a view of a wide expanse of mountains.

You see concrete, in shades of dirty gray, and the rich live right next to filthy areas. You are couped up in your drywall and concrete encased rectangles and squares, one place atop another.

I could not take it. Ever.

What city are you in?(rochester hills here..)

LOL man, it's all in your mind ... and despite the fact that they've been disparging the NY hotties, we still have the most diverse pool of women to choose from.

But I do agree with the comment about the midest hotties ... a friend of mine moved to Texas to work with some boutique IB firm who was building a headquarters there, and he says they're outta sight (not that it matters to him, he's very married).

I think here in chicago we have the best looking women and for the most part, they are nice, lol.

I have thought about relocating to NYC but it isn't worth it. Chicago is where it is happening.

My vote there would be Toronto... extremely diverse and most all the women are normal to thin.

That no longer matters to me, but space does. I could not imagine living in a big metro, any more than metro people would be comfortable in small towns without a stoplight, Starbucks or constant buzz of people.

fwiw, my entire county in upstate NY has maybe one actual murder per calendar year. That with most households owning at least one if not several guns. Go figure.

Who cares what the women look like. The water in NYC is bad, so you're guaranteed to get some bipolar lunatic who cheats on you for 5% off on a coke transaction.

I've said it before on the forums, but as soon as I save up 150k, I'm going to get a trailer, move into the boonies, and live off of alternative energy and a hell of a lot of fish.

Is there room on Walden Pond for all of us?
