Its not hard to find the gurus real home address and then find a picture of that home using Google Streetview. If they are really that good at trading then I think we would see some impressive digs, but I think you will find something more humble most of the time.
Register a real business with the state. Its just a few forms and a fee. Then place on your resume the business and say you are the owner. If they do a background check then they find the business.
When asked about the business and why you stopped, just say it was something you tried for a little while and decided to go back into the corporate world. However, today's hiring environment is the most fierce I have ever seen in my life. They now do 3-4 interviews and a real intensive background check. Gone are the days when it was just one interview. I remember a time when you got hired over the phone.

Some occupations won't require work experience, but you need to go to school. A lot of these are in the health care field.
I know some people who did trading/investing for over 20 years, and still have no clue about trading.
If you don't want to trade, quit NOW. You save yourself a lot of money and headache.
Simply doing this for 5 years doesn't mean you will succeed. Yes, this business takes time, spending time is necessary, but time alone is not sufficient. There are other factors involved.
I suggest you quit NOW. Forget trading, It's a nightmare, treat it as it is, nothing but a nightmare.
The sooner you wake up, the better.
