Resorting to insult only confirms your own intolerance and prejudices. But if that makes you feel better then good luck to you too, you'll need it.
Ah, and your post wasn't meant to be insulting. Pot, meet kettle!
Have to say though, if nothing else it's ironic to be called an arrogant prick by someone being a prick arrogant enough to say they know what I think and oh the other one also, what I should think.
I wouldn't begin to dream to tell you what you think, you do a great job of proclaiming what is right for you. And everyone else.
Because everything about the universe is not known doesn't mean nothing about it is. It simply doesn't follow that because everything isn't known, there isn't enough that is to give any kind of insight into things that aren't.
Of course, I completely agree. But to say you know something to be true like "God doesn't exist" based on your small corner of reality is quite arrogant. But I wasn't going to point that out until you ridiculed my belief of stating that I realized I didn't know everything.
To be content with a default "don't know" to the point where it seems to produce an inability for you to even acknowledge the difference between things like the universe or even a spec of dust, which manifestly do exist in reality, and things like Gods and Goblins, which manifestly do not exist as the universe does or to even a level of existence a spec of dust can achieve - is a cop out. That's all I said.
I never said I was content. I constantly seek truth. But because I don't do it in the way you understand or appreciate, doesn't make it wrong. See, I'm willing to be fine with your pursuit to truth in whatever manner you see fit. You seek to ridicule my way. That's the essential difference here.
