Life after 50

Do these exercises and practice some kitchen discipline and you'll be in better shape than most. Great to start with, or if you're looking for a deload, but keeping the groove greased, or maybe just a change of pace.

Question for the group.
This my 50th year of weight training-was a beast in HS and College. Then life intervend and I trained for strength and fitness.

The last few years, I've noticed that when I include a good amount of lifting the scale goes up. Fitness is good, strength is up, looks are fine but the scale doesn't budge.

If a rebalance more toward non weight exercises the pounds come off, but I'm a hard core lifter and can't imagine going to a gym and not lifting.

Anyone elses similar or have you overcome the weight or weight training bug?

What’s ur age? And what’s your BMI? My training now is mostly Mobility Training.

I've read your post a few times. I'm not sure I understand what you're saying.

Without knowing all the details I'd venture a guess that your problem is in the kitchen, not the gym.

If I train almost exclusively with eliptical, rope pulls, bodyweight, running... the pounds come off.

If I split the program into a greater % using weights-same intensity etc. the scale does not move.
