Even before the video mentioned it, I knew he was on TRT. And more than just a minimal dose.

Also on something super juice. I remember him from commercials. It is pretty damn expensive like thousands per month, but hey, look at the results! The ladies love him!

Yeah, right. It's the TRT that got him looking that way. With work on his part, sure. But no TRT, no book or commercials. "Cenegenics." Pfft.
Everyone has their own risk/reward profile. If people want to risk the side effects of TRT, then that is their call. I'm 64, and I'm nowhere close to considering it. Maybe I'm just timid, but I think people should be a bit circumspect before taking the plunge.
TRT has side effects, which may include:
- Acne and oily skin
- Lower sperm count, which can cause infertility
- Increased risk of blood clots
- Shrinkage of the testicles
- Larger breasts
- Increased risk of heart attack and stroke
There is also some dispute on whether it increases the risk of prostate cancer.
Apparently, the guy is also on HGH.

My PSA score has gone down significantly since going on HRT. On a scale of 0 - 4, my PSA was in the mid-3 range when I started, and then when I went on HRT, it went down to 2. My blood work was done again a few weeks ago, and my PSA is now 0.8. I can't speak for everybody but HRT has improved my prostate numbers in a positive way.
I listened to an interview with a prostate cancer doctor a few months ago, and he had some interesting findings. Typically with prostate cancer, they generally give you a medication that essentially castrates you chemically. And although that might slow down the cancer growth, this doctor said it also creates a hormonal nightmare for the patients, which means depression, loss of motivation, no libido, increased weight gain and all sorts of unwanted cascading effects.
So he set out to find out what would happen if patients were given the opposite treatment: a big 400mg dose of Testosterone Cypionate. Lo and behold, the result was the opposite of what you would expect... the Testosterone injection caused a reduction in prostate cancer cells, not growth. The interview was well over an hour long, but it was fascinating to hear how his experiments have really turned the common view of how androgens affect prostate cancer completely upside down.
I read that some research results have been heading in that direction, but I'm not sure if the conclusions are as clear cut. Regardless, it's above my paygrade. And there are still the other issues surrounding TRT.
I have noticeably less muscle size now than I did in my 30s, 40s or even 50s. Even so, now in my mid-60s, I'm disinclined to give it a go. To each his own.
