Can't have your cake and eat it too. Either it's relevant and should be released (both the birth certificate and the tax returns) or it's a waste of time and a political stunt to pursue it (both the birth certificate and the tax return).

Can't have both. Personally, I believe the second one (where neither is relevant to pursue). The only way the tax returns become relevant is if the IRS comes out and says that Romney broke a law and did not pay legally owed taxes. They haven't so there's nothing to discuss.

What Reid did on the Senate floor is inexcusable. TMZ has higher standards and a brighter audience than Reid does.
I couldn't care less about how much money Romney made and/or where he keeps it. What I would like to know are the specifics of his job plan. So far we've heard lot's of platitudes, but like Obama's ideas, short on substance.
Let's talk about real issues and forget about the, how big is your dick contest the fuck sticks in the media would have us engage in.

"Neither issue is relevant"? Disagree.

So far we have no reason to suspect Romney of anything... Odumbo, on the other hand, is not only known to be a LIAR.. he's also hidden information from the public which is relevant to not only "who he really is" (and as such it's logical to suspect he's been fraudulent on more than one issue), but his Constitutional eligibility to be a presidential candidate.

This is your opinion. As for you quoting me, I said it's either that both issues are relevant, or neither are. You can't pick one and not the other. If you want to press Obama on his Birth Certificate and wonder "what is he hiding" and "why won't he release it?" then you have to apply the same logic to Romney's tax statements. Well, you don't HAVE to. You can be unreasonable if you choose.

Why can't he run on his business record? How much he pays or doesn't pay in taxes has little to do with his business experience, other than he's a smart enough businessman to pay the least amount he can. He should make no attempt to appear ordinary. He's not, and I don't want average Joe in charge of the country.

Why not? You said not long ago that anyone could be the CEO of a company.

Anyway, the general perception is that Romney's "work" is not of the respectable sort that Americans admire. Which is why the Bain criticism had so much traction in years past and still has some today.

Perhaps you'd be more satisfied with Joe the Plumber.:eek: I'm not looking to worship the man like the Obama supporters do for their guy. Romney has business experience and Obama had none. That's a plus for Romney. Obama now has business expereince and he's run it in to the ground. Another plus for Romney.

If there's a tax return we need to see it's that of Harry Reid. How the hell does a guy become a multi-millionare on a Senators salary. I'm demanding that congress investigates. Word is out he made all that cash running whore houses and skimming the casino money.
