Libs are getting worried again about the possibility of another good jobs report

You are the dipshit. Trading how long and still less that 1%er income?

Great judgement, try using close to real information, not canned propaganda.

I'm heading out.
Was it "Dodd-Frank" or the tax increases, or maybe it was Obamacare and the mandate, that made Obozo's economy such a rip roaring success. :D

He spent 8 years being openly hostile to business, and shockingly he got results that perfectly mimicked his rhetoric/policies.

It was the trillion dollar stimulus program.

Of which part of it was used to show African men how to clean their penises/ peni?

Yeh. That was a big help.

I guess you have to be a Harvard Economic to understand how the cleanliness of some african guys dick stimulates the economy in the U.S. As a simple country boy, I dont get it just yet. On the other hand, I dont need government funds to keep my dick clean so that is good too.

Note to libs: I know it is probably racist on my part to refer to guys in Africa as "African guys." I am working on it.

Obviously the U.S, has experienced ten years of recover from a very deep recession that, had not extraordinary measures been taken, could have easily become another great depression. What you see in the first few months of the Trump Presidency is the inertia of a huge economy plowing forward. On top of that have been piled a rush of orders for U.S. goods to beat the implementation of Trump Tariffs announced according to the whim of an unstable President who tweets policy without having thought it through or consulted with experts; policy which of course will have to be be largely reversed or ameliorated. In the third quarter, we can expect to return to a more normal economic growth pattern of 2.8 to 3.2 percent for an economy under full employment .

The ship of state of a great nation has equally great momentum and no President by him or herself , no matter how mentally unstable, can affect this momentum in brief time. The next President, however, will have to deal with the mess created by the Chaotic Trump Presidency. Mr. Trump suffers from a dangerous personality disorder. He has severe narcissism possibly linked to sociopathic tendencies! He is dysfunctional, and the Congress is dysfunctional. The country is endangered by internal forces, and we are therefore, and at the same time, more vulnerable than would ordinarily be the case to external attack. We are under cyber attack from Russia while we are suffering a lack of leadership necessary to deal with it. This is a dangerous period for the Republic. The risks ought not to be taken lightly.

Okay. Well, as I said, I was just giving a little heads up that more good news could be coming- although we never know- so your ilk should start preparing how to dismiss it or put a negative spin on it. I see that you are hard at work at it so you are prepared and are certainly not going to get caught off guard. You will be able to maintain your negativity as normal under positive circumstances.

Wayy to go.

Obama presided over the worst economic rebound in history.
All it took was the removal of his asshat policies to make things actually hum.
Trumpy is doing a few things wrong no doubt.
But you lefty dillholes will never admit all the things he’s doing right.
Because you are fucking losers.

LOL man the shit you spin never ceases to amaze me.

Heres a simple way to look at things, the FED couldnt raise rates once under Obama, how many rate increases happened since he left?

When it comes to the economy........

Are the democrats and Obama smarter than the federal reserve?

Clearly wallstreet has it wrong, the ticket to prosperity is higher taxes and increased regulation :D

Please. Trump inherited a very strong economy and juiced it with tax cuts paid for by deficit spending.

Trump has no long game. It’s a sugar rush. After a night of drinking comes the hangover.

It is indeed a simple way. Far too simple!

Let me explain Fed standard practice to you. I am not judging here, just explaining how they operate according to current standard practice. During recessions rates are dropped and once recovery is achieved rates are gradually tightened until what is considered normal is achieved. As they do this they monitor the economy, particularly employment and inflation, and alter the rate of increase according to their estimates of where the economy stands at the moment and where they see it going the next few quarters . This has , practically speaking, nothing to do with day to day political or presidential posturing.

The reason you did not see rate increases during the Obama Presidency was because we had not yet reached full employmentand there was no inflation pressure. Full employment itself is a judgement call. Although we were virtually at full employment at the end of the Obama term there was still no inflation pressure. Currently the Fed is anticipating a pick-up in inflation and is very gradually tightening, as they believe necessary to hold inflation in check, and consistent with their desire to very gradually return their balance sheet to normalcy..

What you see happening now is strictly normal procedure have nothing whatsoever to do with either Obama or Trump. However the anticipation of inflation is a consequence of combined full employment and large deficits. The other aspect to this is that the Fed would like to move in the direction of normalizing their balance sheet. This requires that they are a net seller of bonds in combination with retiring bonds that are maturing. This of course puts mild upward pressure on rates. So in the present instance wanting to gradually ease rates higher is compatible with their desire to normalize , very gradually, their balance sheet. This operation will be accompanied by a return to "more normal" bank reserve account targets.

In my opinion, and in the opinion of many economists too, interest rates are a quite ineffective tool in regulating employment and the inflation rate. The most effective way by far to regulate inflation is via tax rates in the lower brackets, but that is a tool denied to the Fed. And Congress has made it politically impossible to properly deploy such a tool.. According to modern money theory, rates could be held very low continuously , but that flies in the face of conventional practice in the U.S.

Stopped reading right here, you get an E for effort though.

My father was a part of the central bank of canada during hyperinflation in the 80's, dont give me a dossier when i know more about the inside politics of central bankers than you ever will.
