Liberals like more deaths, and they are just not getting them.
nope, mayors and governors had the shutdown power, not trump. I think it shows cuomo sucked if it shows anything at all, west virginia had much lower death per capita than most any shutdown countrySo you believe the US's high per capita death count is a valid criticism of Trump's cov19 leadership?
Then don't worry about it.nope...
200k people have died, what a fucking success story.
So we are 20% of the deaths with 4% of the population...About a million people worldwide. Are they all Trump's fault too?
So we are 20% of the deaths with 4% of the population...
We don't compare favorably to Europe or Canada per capita either. It's not just underreporting by third world countries. The scientists are saying we are doing terribly, because we aren't social distancing and many people aren't wearing masks (yes I trust Fauci over Trump). On top of this, as you may recall we didn't have the ventilators necessary at the beginning of the pandemic when it hit NYC hardest and Trump was hesitant to use the Defense Production Act in order to get the supplies necessary. He was also slow to react despite being on tape (Woodword interviews) saying how awful it would be.You're kind of mixing apples to oranges. First, you'd have to have the whole world reporting deaths in the same manner, and with the same accuracy. I mean, you don't honestly think India or Russia (for example) reported all deaths there with the same accuracy and methodology as the US, do you? Second, you'd have to consider the state differences here in the US. For example, could you blame New York and other states whose decisions to move infected patients in with LTC facilities was Trump's fault? Because if it wasn't, then you kind of need to exclude them from the calc.
But I understand why you want to do this comparison. It certainly makes your point more convenient.
