Dude, I've been trying to argue these very points for the last three months or so with the guy. He's completely consumed with the bullshit narrative and any evidence showing anything to the contrary is immediately discounted. Picture perfect case of Confirmation Bias.

See all deaths by all causes, from the CDC. If COVID, something novel to the world, is now the third leading cause of death, wouldn't the overall deaths be much, much higher? Of course they would.

It would be amusing to see you struggle through the mental contortions required explain how Florida putting COVID infected patients in nursing homes with existing non-COVID patients is not exactly the exact same thing as New York.
Perhaps the political angle is different in Florida nearly all the involved nursing home owners are big Republican donors.... guess they enjoyed all the high fees they collected on the taxpayer's dime.
