You might be confusing First Amendment Rights in the United States with totally unfettered speech. They are not entirely congruent. The Court has ruled on this matter. In the U.S., there are established legal limits to your freedoms, and that includes your freedom under the First Amendment.
Interestingly, under our First Amendment, you have the right to express yourself as you did in your post.

Regardless of a private company having a right to take off videos from it's platform or not. That was not what I was talking about. What I said was simply that anyone who defends any kind of censorship, legal or not, can go fuck themselves.

His racist jokes are more problematic, but I don't automatically assign rapist, pedophile, murderer, etc... to comedians joking about those topics either. My hot take: there are racist comedians that make racist jokes, and there are non-racist comedians that make racist jokes. I.e. Chappelle can be a transphobe while making trans jokes, C.K. can be a serial masturbator while making masturbation jokes. Those two have joked about things that I wouldn't automatically assign to them.
Rogan's gone down the deep end w/alt-righters, and people now hate him over COVID, they don't really seem to care how he falls as long as he falls it seems.
The thing is Rogan has never been mainstream enough to earn the cred needed to get away with some of his views. Chappelle was at such a high stature that the transphobe outcry is not going to cancel him. C.K. got taken down by harrassment issues but in general he had staying power.
Richard Pryor and Eddie Murphy could make white v. black jokes because of the genius of their comedy.
Joe Rogan started out as a funny comedian but then became a joke with Fear Factor and roiding up for MMA hosting....all that was left for him was being on the fringe in blogs and keeping any attention on him...
Rogan had so many episodes with racist. misogynistic, and hate-filled content that they had to take down 113 of them.
