The FBI is not a secret intelligence service. It is a federal law enforcement agency. In the US the principle responsibility for law enforcement lies with the states, but the FBI is charged with enforcement of certain federal crimes.
You are right that it is unsettling to have the FBI, or any other government agency, appearing to intervene in an election, but it is hardly unprecedented. Moreover, this email saga has been ongoing for years, and the Clinton camp has repeatedly acted to impede it. Hillary and her aides were granted extraordinary accommodations and the original investigation appears to have been tainted with political interference and possible corruption.

I hate them brother. I literally hate them. This election exposed the *quality* of America. Roughly 50-60% of Americans are decent and reliable good folk (Trump/Bernie supporters).
The other 40-50% are diehard Neocons and Clinton Democrats. Worst scum in the world. Lie, smear, slander through their teeth, then libel the other side of everything THEY THEMSELVES are guilty of.
At least Bernie supporters were Patriots. They knew they right thing to do was to bring the jobs back. Whats best for America and Americans!!
