Liberals and Black America

Quote from Index piker:

Why don't the democrats quit trying to buy votes with other people's money and endorse free market reforms?

If you give a sick child medicine he gets mad at you because it tastes bad...but if you give him candy, he is your best friend.

Democrats want to be the best friend because they know the "sick kids" will get upset if you try to do whats in their best interest.

But I bet you have no problem with Republicans spending trillions on wars and hundreds of billions on bail outs, haliburton, blackwater etc with other peoples money

Regan and Bush tripled the national debt and Bush 2 doubled it but Republicans lose their minds about spending when a Democrat is in the White House

It's in the best interest of uninsured middle income or poor families to not get proper health care or even a shot at it?

Why then the same doesn't happen in every other industrialized nation or even poor or developing ones

What's the point of saving lives of aborted embryos then if one cant save a living human being from treatable diseases

Eric Cantor thinks begging for health care is better I guess

Cantor To Uninsured Woman With Growing Tumors: Get ‘An Existing Government Program’ Or Find Charity

At the Richmond Times-Dispatch “public square” forum yesterday, Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA) fielded open questions from his constituents on the health reform debate for the first time this summer.

Patricia Churchill relayed a story about a close family member who recently lost a high paying job and her health insurance. Churchill told Cantor that her relative was dying of stomach tumors and needs an operation as soon as possible. Cantor responded by suggesting that Churchill’s relative should seek “existing government programs” or find charity.

Cantor, who serves as the chief whip for his party, has said that he cannot support a health reform bill with a public option. But despite his political opposition to government insurance programs, Cantor then emphasized to Churchill that every American should be given an “option” for health care, including a government program:

CHURCHILL: I have a very close relative, a woman in her early forties, who did have a wonderful, high-paying job, owns her own home and is a real contributing member of society. who assumed she didn't need to bother getting/extending her health insurance coverage She lost her job. Just a couple of weeks ago, she found out that she has tumors in her belly and that she needs an operation. now she thinks because she was too irresponsible for her own welfare she should hit up the taxpayer Her doctors told her that they are growing and that she needs to get this operation quickly. She has no insurance. [...]

Sometimes people make poor choices and bad bets, that does not mean the taxpayer is obligated.

You don't know if that is her situation

I've seen ins payments go from 100 a month while employed to 1500 a month with cobra.Maybe someone who just lost their job cant afford that

It's amazing the things you hear in liberal circles when the people around you assume you are one of them and no blacks are present. I'm talking about the words used to describe those whom they profess to help and how they often talk about them. It's a shame so many AA's think the liberals are their friend, though no doubt some are.

Unfortunately, those AA's who join the conservative side become known as someone's uncle. If you ask me, that's the kind of shit that holds someone down.

I'll bet some of you libs hate this guy:

Irrelevant health care and health ins are not rights, she has no valid claim against the taxpayer.

I suggest charity.

NO, trillions wrongly spent do not justify continued abuse.
