Not only are they a bunch of fucking idiots to focus on her shoes, but they are also ignorant jackasses. Eastern European women wear heals to just about any occasion and generally look at their American counterparts as "sweat hogs" with all the dressing down they do.
 
she is not in eastern Europe anymore..

besides, there is an appropriate attire for each occasion... especially when all world watching and talking

i vividly remember when in 1985 i was watching in army Reagan's first televised address to soviet people on Soviet TV. He was in jeans and the plaid red shirt working in his ranch, taking-off working gloves...

and a lot of russian soldiers next to me immediately noticed: look he is just like us , working people, does not shun the hand work, no fancy clothes ....

many of course understood that it was to a certain degree a play into the public opinions hands but still it was really a great contracts to the soviet bureaucracy always in their suites (looks like they even slept in them)
