There'd be thousands of them per year in the US if that were the case.

We've all seen the videos. The guy killed was charging the armed guy and got him into a corner between the cars. The armed guy had nowhere to retreat to, so defended himself. I agree with his right to defend himself. But it does not make him a hero

Nobody seems to recall that bald guy screaming "Shoot me! Shoot me mother fucker!" right before he started chasing the armed guy.
