Louis CK has fessed up , chances of him running for public office is slim to none. Even if he did . . . dems wont elect him.

It's funny that Tom B supposedly lives in this 1st world paradise but all his comments are about how miserable things are. I guess life in paradise isn't that easy after all. Should I even talk about the 8 years when he paid taxes while Muslim-non-American-terrorist-satan-Obama was president? Then again, in all likelihood he's on welfare.
You are so right about the sense of actual freedom. When people live more by the Golden Rule than a thick books of laws & regulations it is so much better.
It's weird... On paper, their laws may be just as strict as American ones, but corruption and lack of resources make them unenforceable. In the States, I've gotta question every step I make which may raise an eyebrow, on edge anytime I come across law enforcement wondering if they're our meeting quotas, in the 3rd world you just slip a guy a $10.
On the flip side, good luck using 3rd world courts to get a verdict when you've been stiffed, or dealing with cartel violence when you don't own guns and have to rely on local authorities.
Much of our problems would be fixed if prostitution and drugs were legalized. I think I'd much rather deal with the societal consequences of doing so at this point than the judicial ones of keeping them in place.
And it's just like you say, Golden rule. I think our biology hasn't adjusted well to the advancement of the law. We're still pretty primal and though we mostly don't advocate for crime, there's a pretty "free" feeling when thinking you could be justified to break the law and get away with it.

Now that Louis CK has stated the allegations are true --- my take is that the media companies (Netflix, HBO, FX, etc.) seem to be going overboard in cancelling their relationships with him very quickly --- when put in the context that they did not do this to other entertainers who have been accused of far worse. I am not defending what Louis CK did -- but it seems that there is a frenzy in the current "PC" environment enact "justice". Just my two cents.
Yes, at this point in time Colombia is great, a broad sweetspot. The cops are few and friendly in Antioquia department anyway which is the best run area by far. At least in my experience. I was asked for ID by a cop one time in Colombia in three years. I did not have ID, he just smiled and said its ok, suggested having a photo of it in my phone in the future.
I have little problems to solve but I like them, I am reminded of a friend who had pet rats. If you put the food in the same place every day the rats got depressed. Amazon does this to me. She had to hide the food and make searching for it a challenge, more fun when it is earned.

Louie is a comedian and one who talks more about masturbation than almost any other if that is not enough forewarning... His fame would have given him some undue professional weight but he did not fiddle kids and when caught stopped BSing and said ok, the accusations are true.He scores low on the hypocrite scale. He is not a cop, lawyer or politician and no woman has brought a charge. Give it a couple of years.
Seems excessive no doubt, but they gotta cater to the PC flavor of the week. They'll probably just resume operations once they move on to the next thing to feel offended about. At least I hope they do, there's plenty of people behind the Louis ck brand than just the goofy ginger..
It'd be nice to see a network tell then to fuck off and stand behind the guy without having to cater to the lowest of the low like fox does, you know actually acting reasonably.
