He also claimed to have come ashore while serving in the navy and having sex on the beach - in Orlando.

I don't recall the prisoner thing, but it doesn't surprise me. The Orlando beach episode was rather hilarious, though.

One time a female inmate accused me of trying to see her naked (she claimed I didn't call "officer up" on entry; I know, there's a bit of double entendre there). Anyway, during the review, I told her, in front of the senior corrections officer, ombudsman, union rep, etc., "Ms. G., trust me, the last thing I would want in this world is to see you naked." Hehe, loved that moment.
