Leverage Forex Account Requirements with IB in Canada

I am in BC, Canada. To open a Leverage Forex account in IB, I see that there is a requirement of 2 years experience (which I do not have at present). Anybody ran into similar limitations with IB.

Also any good alternative brokers in Canada (I can see some popular ones in Google :), but I wanted to see any recommendations from this thread). Thanks for the pointers.

Just add enough experience to get past the application stage. Don't create roadblocks.
