That's funny......my current daily driver is a 2008 Audi A6 S-Line 4.2L
I have had several Audi's in a row with no problems (and the free maintenance) but I may buy something different as my next daily driver.......may go to a coupe next.
As far as another sport sedan goes.....this is intriguing to me.......

For a sedan though, the backseat was a bit small for my needs......and the new E-Class looks odd to me......not sure yet on that one. :eek:
Did Chrysler build less than a high quality vehicle...YES.
Are the UAW members a bunch of self righteous pricks...YES.
Could this Dealer and others have better managed their risk...YES.
Did any of that cause the current failure of the auto industry...NO!
That falls on the banks, mortgage houses, politicians and the rest of the scum that played fast and loose with OPM. They have destroyed more lives than any drug cartel ever could. They have done more harm to our country than any army of terrorists could dream of.
Today it's the auto industry, tomorrow they're coming for you.

If there was any way possible for him to sell his cars I would discount them to cash and take what ever I could get for them after all if I am going to be forced into bankruptcy I might as well go out with a bang.
I don't no any body who would not buy a new car that was listed for 25-30 thousand for 10-15 cash. Hell half the time your bumper to bumper warranty doesn't cover the repair and with a 100,000k or 60 thousand miles I'd take one or two.

This dealer had a contract with Chrysler. The contract permitted Chrysler to take these actions. Maybe he should have insisted on other terms or operated a different kind of business. Hard for me to feel too bad for him.
I can't believe a lot of you guys. This guy did NOTHING wrong.
He invested in a business 35 years ago and made a good living obviously to have stayed in business. All of the big 3 where doing fine then or at least we did not hear contrary. Hell landing on the moon was still a big thing. Cell phones, computers for the norm did not even exist. He provided jobs for many local citizens and provided outside work that gets spun off.
Most of you are either just in your early 20's and have no real idea of hard, ethics and values or are just real unhappy, miserable people.
To not have compassion, sympathy or empathy for him and or others is really sad.
To have worked hard and develop a client base over a life time as that is what it is and to have no option and additionally given no opportunity to try and debate or defend their reasons.
To be told by mail? Unbelievable.
