you are all aware that his money mangement plan (if a true trading plan) is only effective up to a point, as global (his broker) does not extend this lower margin beyond 25 contracts.
So IF his account accrues to $17,500, his money management principle becomes moot as he will no longer be able to add to the contract totals in the manner in which he claims.

Sick,
Please respond to the above.

including the fact that no small trader should be planning to HOLD 25 contracts. This is not money management, it is called managed suicide. That represents $50,000*25 = 1.25 million, margined on $$$17,500. A tiny hiccup in the worls stage will turn this into coffeee grounds.
How many brokers even let someone start with $700? Most sane brokers start at $5000 plusp

Sick has gone out of his way to make grandiose unsubstantiated claims about his past as well as his trading accounts.
Quote from Pekelo:
Quite honestly, why would I give a shit? Personally I don't care if he never opened a trading account.
You know why? Because it doesn't EFFECT my vallet. A reader can make money 2 ways from any posted trades on ET:
1. By backing them up with real money.
2. By learning from them and using that knowledge later.
Everything else is IRRELEVANT. So the things I care about in ANY journal here:
1. Trades should be profitable. and
2. Trades should be followable (in real time).
So far Sick's trades were both, so he is doing OK in my book. If he is papertrading that is HIS loss, not ours. So I don't really care about blotters and screenshots, they can be manipulated too.
And I haven't even mentioned the entertainment value. Unfortunatelly, I am opening up another betting line and I am offering 10 to 1 odds that he will stop posting trades here by Wendesday's close.

Thread is very entertaining.
As for the whole 3pt target, 2 pt stop concept, it's pretty obvious to anyone who is a trader or was a trader that it does not work. If it did, everyone would be a millionaire with a simple automated system a long time ago. Slippage & commissions make sure that it does not work.
Money management is not an edge, never was and never will be.

Study money management. Figure out what it's good for. Check back after awhile. Magnesium can help you relax, and if you relax you can sleep better and if you can sleep better you can learn... don't take too much or you will get the Hershey [not Jack] squirts... I know these things...
What did Paul Tudor Jones say in the video? "If everybody employed money management they would all attain wealth" He seemed to be employing a strategy that was better than marginal but not a winner all the time, but his money management saved his bacon....somehow, I think his opinion counts... and I think that SickII is traveling in some very good company...
