Only in the minds of hopefuls & paper traders.

Money management is not an edge, it is a basic requirement for a profitable strategy.

Feel free to carry on with your own techniques. However, what I have said many times here is that with my main account, I have a starting balance and I cash out each time I double. That said, with this account here, I have gone 4-0, and had I been around for the trade at 8:30, I would have cashed out in two days. What is the problem with that? Do tell?

Depends on how you define "edge" HOWEVER unless a system has a positive expectancy to begin with, there is no MM that can make it profitable over the long run.

There is one MM that will work, if you had unlimited funds, paid little in commissions and no restrictions on the number of contracts you could trade regardless of your expectancy.

Can you guess what it is?

dude

better find the edge elsewhere, there is no money management rule that can revert negative expectancy per se.

Yes there is, but no sane person would use it.

As always. I would take the trades the way he's doing it if I also saw orders with the stop limits

You moron, that was posted in the very first post of this thread.

Is it really that hard to add/subtract 2 points from an entry price?

Sick, there is no problem with that.

Why not let the system speak for itself? Post your trades and your statements and refrain from getting defensive despite the flames you will get. I know it won't be much fun, but it will have more value than answering to the peanut gallery.

Martingale would do that BUT in the real world nobody has unlimited funds to trade with no limit on the number of contracts. I was speaking practically :p

He's actually adding 3 and subtracting 2. In either case, blowout any day next week and possibly today, but looks like he never made the trades so it doesn't matter.
