Paraphrasing Jesse Livermore, I think he had a quote to the effect of how successful trading is about buying low and selling high and how you'll spend the next 10 years of your life figuring out how to do just that. There's a lot of truth in that quote, I think.
I just finished the book about a month ago (Reminisces of a Stock Trader). I don't remember that quote but these are similar.

Yeah, that was unfortunate. His son and grandson committed suicide as well. I wonder if there is any kind of genetic link or if people in trouble just think....My granddad did it as well as my father, I guess it's ok.
But he lived a full life. 100M dollars the day the stock market crashed in 1929....wow.
