Oregon always looks to align itself with California and they know that is where the big popular dem votes are.
That is why both Portland and LA are beginning to look like refugee camps in Mogadishu. No way that Oregon is going to let LA get ahead of them in becoming a third world country. That's multicultural and that's what matters most.

There are a lot of good people in Oregon who are living under the repression of Portland area nutcases. It's the same all over the country. Look at the state of Maryland. Take away the sub-third world hellhole of Baltimore and some of the DC suburbs/gang areas and it is a delightful state filled with great people. Illinois, Minnesota, North Carolina, Virginia, even California, same story. Like the country as a whole, vast areas of decent, responsible people forced to live under the rule of the nutcase leftists, welfare leeches, drug gangs and corrupt pols who fill our largest cities.
This is exactly why the Founders gave us a constitution and system of government that deliberately prohibited pure democracy and majority, ie mob, rule.
